Lacrosse Growth in Goldsboro, NC

Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, and no where is that growth more apparent than in Goldsboro, NC. That’s because in Wayne County youth leagues, youth ages six to 18 have the opportunity to play on any of six exciting lacrosse teams offered by Holt Lacrosse (hlcx). Teams include co-ed teams for ages 6-9 and 10-12, and girls’ teams for ages 13-18. The group also offers a third co-ed team for athletes ages 13-18.

Holt Lacrosse Goldsboro NC is a community-based youth lacrosse organization that provides positive experiences for its young athletes on the field and in the classroom. But, regardless of the number of local youth participating in lacrosse, these young athletes and their families may need some help off the field. When that happens, local legal aid groups are there to lend a hand.

The role of legal aid is to provide support to families experiencing legal issues. The aim is to focus on the legal issues that most affect low-income communities. The ultimate goal of legal aid is to gain justice for everyone, which is why it’s so valuable to have in every community and to recognize Goldsboro, NC as having such an important resource. According to the comprehensive approach to legal aid in Goldsboro, every family and every person is different, and so are their legal needs.

Family situations create a variety of legal issues including visiting rights for young boys and girls, custody arrangements, landlord/tenant issues, and criminal representation to name just a few. Families engaged in youth sports like lacrosse may be particularly vulnerable to such legal issues. The value of legal aid is to provide assistance to these vulnerable families.

When families experience any of these legal issues, legal aid is there to provide pro bono representation, especially for those who would be unable to afford to hire a private attorney. Legal aid attorneys work to negotiate the most favorable outcome and to protect the rights of the individuals they represent. Legal aid has financial limits to protect its funding and to ensure that as many people as possible get the assistance they need.

In Wayne County, legal aid is available through East Central Community Legal Services.

Legal aid helps with a variety of legal issues, especially those affecting low-income members of our community. From creditors to government agencies to family matters, legal aid professionals provide assistance to those who can’t afford legal representation. East Central Community Legal Services will review your application and determine if you qualify for legal assistance. Keep in mind that not all issues qualify for legal aid, such as family law issues or criminal records that won’t have life-altering effects.
